1. Overview of Data Storage Architecture

Zero Server-Side Storage: Simple Clean does NOT require user account creation, login, or registration. We do not operate external databases, cloud servers, or remote storage that hold your personal information, scanning histories, or device identifiers.

Because no user records or account profiles exist on remote servers, there is no server-side user record to delete. All application configurations, scan summaries, and temporary indexes exist exclusively in local device memory and local sandboxed storage.

2. Step-by-Step Instructions to Delete All Local Data

You have immediate, direct autonomy to wipe all data created by Simple Clean at any time using standard Android OS controls:

Method A: Clear App Storage (Recommended)

  1. Open your Android device's Settings app.
  2. Navigate to Apps (or Apps & Notifications → See all apps).
  3. Locate and select Simple Clean.
  4. Tap on Storage & Cache.
  5. Tap Clear Storage (or Clear Data), then tap Clear Cache.

✓ This immediately resets all app settings, cached scan indexes, and user preferences back to initial installation state.

Method B: Complete App Uninstallation

  1. Long-press the Simple Clean app icon on your home screen or app drawer.
  2. Tap Uninstall (or drag the icon to the Uninstall trash can).
  3. Confirm by tapping OK.

✓ The Android operating system immediately removes the application sandbox, deleting all local files and preference stores associated with the app package.

3. Resetting Advertising & Consent Identifiers

If you wish to reset or delete advertising identifiers associated with Google Mobile Ads:

  1. Open Android Settings.
  2. Scroll down and select Google (or Google Services).
  3. Tap on Ads.
  4. Tap Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID.

To reconfigure your European Union / UK GDPR consent choices within Simple Clean, navigate to the app's internal Settings menu and tap Reset Consent Preferences.
